Special expertise: Corneal surgery, including transplantation and laser refractive surgery including excimer laser, pediatric and high risk keratoplasty, combinations of corneal transplantation with other procedures, such as intraocular lens implantation, glaucoma and vitreoretinal surgery.

Diagnostic capabilities include: mapping of the corneal surface through computerized corneal topography and photokeratoscopy.

Corneal function testing uses specular mircoscopy, pachymetry, slit-lamp photo - and video- microscopy, iris fluorescein angiography, specialized diagnostic microbiology, and ocular cell surface cytology.
