(NOTE:
Kirkham Street will become Koret Way at 4th Avenue)
From the East Bay - Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, and Alameda Counties (80)
Entering San Francisco from the Bay Bridge, Hwy. 80 South,
after crossing the Bay Bridge, EXIT to
the right on "101 North/Golden Gate Bridge". Get in the
left lane and EXIT on OCTAVIA BLVD/FELL STREET. After 4 blocks, turn
LEFT on FELL Street. Continue about 20 blocks to Stanyan Street (past
Masonic, get in the right lane of Fell and continue straight as Fell
veers to the left here). From the right lane, turn left (south) onto
Stanyan Street. Continue 8 blocks, then turn right (west) on Parnassus
Avenue. Follow Parnassus to 5th Avenue. Make a left onto 5th Avenue
for one block to Kirkham. Turn left on Kirkham and
proceed to the top of the driveway where you will see a large green sign for
the Koret Vision
Research Laboratory.
From Marin and Sonoma Counties (101 South and Hwy 1)
After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19th Avenue exit (on
right 1/4-mile after toll plaza) onto Park Presidio Drive. Stay in the
right lanes
as you pass through Golden Gate Park onto 19th Avenue, where no left
turns are allowed. Proceed on 19th Avenue to Lawton, turn right
on Lawton; right on 20th Avenue; right (east) on Kirkham. Follow Kirkham
to 5th Avenue. Proceed through
the intersection and to the top of the driveway where you'll see a large
green sign for the Koret Vision Research
Laboratory.
From the South Bay (101 North)
Take HIGHWAY 101 NORTH (Bayshore
Freeway). Follow the signs for "101 North/Golden Gate Bridge".
Get in the left lane and EXIT on OCTAVIA BLVD/FELL STREET. After
4 blocks, turn LEFT on FELL Street. Continue about 20 blocks
to Stanyan Street (past Masonic, get in the right lane of Fell
and continue straight as Fell veers to the left here). From the
right lane, turn left (south) onto Stanyan Street. Continue 8
blocks, then turn right (west) on Parnassus Avenue. Follow Parnassus
to 5th Avenue. Make a left onto 5th Avenue for one block to Kirkham.
Turn
left on Kirkham and proceed to the top of the driveway where you will
see a large green sign for the Koret Vision Research Laboratory.
From the Peninsula (280) and San Francisco Airport
Take Highway 280 north (or 101 north to 380 west to 280 north); stay
in the left lanes and take the Golden Gate Bridge exit
onto 19th Avenue (north).
Proceed in the right lanes and turn right (east) on Kirkham
Street. Follow Kirkham to 5th Avenue. Proceed through the intersection
and to the top of the driveway where you'll see a large green sign for
the Koret Vision
Research Laboratory.
